Anderson Hay is seeking an Inbound Driver to add to their Ellensburg fleet. This position is expected to safely operate equipment to deliver loads from fields and storage facilities to the plant. While designated as Inbound, this driver must also be able to occasionally operate on an Outbound schedule, delivering loads to and from the ports as needed. In addition to 2 years of CDL experience, they will need to have a Doubles Endorsement.
Pay Range: $65,000-$109,000 (pay by load/distance depending on outbound/inbound)
Job Functions
- Drive semi to and from fields/storage facilities following all safety protocols
- Maintain equipment and service as needed
- Safely tarp and un-tarp product as needed
- Complete DOT and safety records in accordance with regulations and company policy
- Follow all DOT and safety regulations at all times
- Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain truck and take appropriate measures to insure maximum fuel efficiency
- Sweep off flatbeds in specified cleaning area
- Ensure product quality by inspecting product at time of loading
- If necessary re-tarp product at stack yard
- Occasional hauling of intermodal containers to various ports
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years’ driving experience
- CDL License with excellent driving record
- TWIC Card
- Previous hay hauling experience
- Flat bed/or Doubles Endorsement

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
